Fish tank. 250-gallons or larger seems to create a stable system specially for beginners because they allow more room for error as things (PH, ammonia, nitrite levels) happen more slowly at larger water volume. It must be strong enough to withstand the forces of water and fish. Should be made of food-safe materials and should not alter the PH of the system. For beginners start with 1:1 ratio of grow bed and fish tank, then if you want you can increase up to 2:1 ratio once system starts to mature (around 4-6 months). Fish stocking density is around 1 lb fish per 5-10 gallons of fish tank.
